The Channeling Hands

There are times when we need to direct healing energy to a person. This may be done with the Channeling Hands. Although there are many techniques and methodologies for channeling energy depending on the nature of the problem and the healing tradition, this method is simple to recall and does not require much effort on our part.

For a general healing, the two hands are extended outwards–towards and within the aura of the patient–a centimeter or two away from the subject’s physical body. Imagine the hands radiating a white-golden force filling the patient’s aura. Next seal this magnetic-field with an inscription of a symbol meaningful to you. Trace this symbol in the air slightly above or beyond the person or object.

Like everything else in metaphysical practice, prior spiritual training under a true Guru, directly or indirectly appointed by the Holy Council of the Chohans, gives greater satisfactory results in healing operations.

The Manifester Mudra

“And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there. And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the brook.” 1 Kings 17:4,6

Elijah, one of the biblical prophets, was commanded by God to go to the “wilderness” to “hide.” This can actually be conjectured to be God’s (actually a Guru’s) command to Elijah to undergo a spiritual retreat to engage in meditation and other spiritual disciplines. Such spiritual retreats are called “Uzzlah” in Islam and “Hitbodedut” in Judaism, of which a specific physical environment is not always meant. Some people seem to think that meditation should only be done in peaceful and quiet surroundings–this is not true for someone of Elijah’s caliber who is able to precipitate such conditions in his soul whenever he wills. Advanced practitioners are not dependent on the environment for peace, for this is a false sense of peace. True peace comes from within and is a state attained by meditators wherever they physically find themselves.

Now while in retreat Elijah was fed bread and meat by ravens. This anecdote may be interpreted literally or more appropriately, esoterically and symbolically. We will not overdwell upon this issue here. What interests us is that Elijah’s needs were somehow fulfilled by an external force as a result of the workings of Cosmic laws. The scriptures do not relate this, but Elijah’s desire or need was preceded by a request to be sustained–”ask and it shall be given”–that is the spiritual injunction. How desires may be requested for fulfillment is “coincidentally” depicted in the picture of Elijah above. The finger-tips of the two hands are placed together forming an empty space between them. Occultism teaches that this mudra builds up a natural magnetic-force between and around the hands while in this position, and this force may be imbued with a certain quality, feeling, idea, or thought. The resultant accumulation of power and the magnetization of this packet of energy with a thought or feeling is known as a thought-form, and at more advanced levels where a degree of consciousness is embued to it, the packet of energy becomes a “servitor” or a “familiar.”

When subsequently released to the Cosmic realms, this thought-form strives to manifest on the physical plane that which it was programmed to do. This is why we name this mudra “the Manifester,” for it helps to generate the energy and force to manifest one’s desires–one reason why it is instinctively used during prayer. The mudra is one of the secret tools applied in the art of mental creation. We may manifest anything within the world of possibility and such manifestations may occur instantly or after a time delay.

In order to manifest anything, one must first accumulate psychic energy. There are many methods of doing this which are taught in metaphysical schools. One must also be able to release the thought-form to angelic intelligences and elementals and to urge their cooperation in the work of manifestation of which in this context we act as the First Cause. Their help are essential and this cannot be done if we do not acquire and maintain a good relationship with these beings or have authority over them. In the biblical story of Elijah mentioned previously, these elemental and angelic beings are represented by the ravens.

As this work with the elementals requires training under a qualified Guru, we will not offer the formula in full here for to convey such power to those who would abuse or misuse it is a dangerous thing to all parties concerned. We are to be responsible for what we give out. If a student abuses power the teacher likewise reaps a percentage of the karmic effects. There are metaphysicians who would deny this in their ignorance; nevertheless, it is true. In their ignorance, irresponsible “paranormals” or Gurus offer their occult teachings, their so-called powers and knowledge without any consideration as to the moral fitness of the recipient. We emphasize right here that some things just cannot be put into print for public consumption–not when the false ego reigns supreme. However, to return from our digression and putting the training work aside, the basic steps for manifesting anything are as follow:

1) Assuming the mudra and the generation/accumulation of Power

2) Attunement

3) Invocation of the angelic intelligences and elementals

4) The building-up of the thoughtform and empowering it

5) Release of the thoughtform with the certainty and faith that it will manifest

The Beast Master

Every student of biblical study is familiar with the story of Daniel and how he was thrown into the lion’s den due to the nefarious plot of jealous individuals (Daniel 6:3-24), and also how he survived the ordeal. Like many other stories in the scriptures, this tale offers more value to us when interpreted esoterically rather than understanding it in a historical sense.

Metaphysically speaking, beasts of prey represent the lower instincts, desires, and emotions within man. The task of the disciple is to tame these energies and harness them for a higher purpose. Therefore, Daniel, having subdued the lions signifies a disciple’s spiritual mastery over the forces governing his four-fold personality–his mental, astral, etheric and physical bodies.

The Beast Master mudra collects energies from the cosmos and directs them to the heart, it also raises and transmutes the lower “animalistic” energies residing in the solar plexus to the heart region where a major chakra is located. The energy that accumulates in the heart builds up the chakra that subsequently attracts a greater influx of power from the Monad, which is the divine spark within the microcosm.

To conduct the Beast Master exercise, extend your left hand outwards, palm facing upwards. The right hand should be placed over the heart, palm inwards. The next step is to visualize the left hand collecting energy from the cosmos. See silvery-golden light from a spiritual source entering your left palm and travelling to your heart. Do this for 5-10 minutes. By placing your right palm over your heart, a closed-circuit is formed that would build magnetism within the chest and thus further nourish the important heart-center.

Continuing to the next phase of the exercise, while still in the same mudra position, visualize a ball of energy in the solar plexus region. See it scintillating and vibrating with power. Suck this energy upward to the heart until the ball of energy at the solar plexus diminishes while the energy in the heart chakra area increases. This second part of the Beast Master should also be done for several minutes.

After completing the second stage, continue with the last step: Visualize a scintillating ball of silvery light above you. Chant and vibrate the word “Yeheshua” for 7x. Now inhale deeply and as you do so, direct a beam of light from this silvery ball of power above you to the crown of your head–continue visualizing its descent downwards where it engulfs the heart. As you hold your breath, see your heart covered in divine radiance as depicted in the picture above of the Benediction mudra. Exhale when you feel uncomfortable. Repeat the chanting and the breathing cycle for 5-10 minutes.

Once the heart chakra has unfolded, the energies residing in it may be directed in various ways by the white magician.

The Heart Polarizer Mudra

The purpose of the Heart Polarizer is to strengthen the psychic center in the heart region and to polarize one’s consciousness at the level where love reigns in all its splendor.

The average person is polarized in the solar plexus chakra where the lower emotions are based. By transcending this chakra and focusing and functioning from the heart center we liberate ourselves from our human mortal thoughts, feelings and attitudes, and claim the heritage of our innate divinity.

To perform this mudra: place the left hand sideways against the center of the chest, thumb inwards to the heart as may be seen in the picture above. Maintain this position for 5 minutes or more while doing deep breathing. Focus your attention upon the heart where the spark of your divinity lies.

The Energizer Mudra (Sign of Reverence)

This mudra generates a certain energy within one’s bio-magnetic field. It is a hand pose to be found in the practices of countless spiritual traditions and religions. While in prayer we often assume this pose and arise out of it spiritually strengthened and nourished. The power generated with the use of this mudra uplifts the mind giving one a new zest and enthusiasm for life. Needless to say, one of the secrets of prayer is the pose of the body and hands that configures one’s energy structure to greatly facilitate the communion between worlds and the exchange of forces.

Execute this mudra by uniting both hands at the level of the chest, palms together and fingers pointing upwards. Maintain this pose for 5-10 minutes–or much longer if you are able to. Feel the energy developing in the area of the hands as it slowly spreads up to the arms and body. This mudra could trigger an automatic response from the nervous system resulting in unusual movements of the limbs and body.

The Christ Wisdom Mudra

This mudra develops in us spiritual wisdom. As mentioned in a previous chapter, every finger symbolically and magnetically represents a certain element. In this mudra we have spirit or ether (middle finger) acting on air or the mental faculties (index finger). When the mind is influenced by spirit it develops spiritual wisdom–not the wisdom of this world, but the wisdom of the gods that transcends human understanding.

For 5-10 minutes (or longer), place the tip of the right forefinger upon the tip of the middle finger of the left hand. The rest of the fingers of the right hand are folded, while in the left only the thumb and first three fingers are extended. The palms of both hands should face towards the chest. In some cases, we are talking about pennies per visitor.

With affiliate programs, you could literally make $2 or $200 for one sale.

I believe that if you are getting into an internet business on the advertising platform, you should not rely only on Google Adsense, nor should you rely only on your affiliate programs. But together, both systems on your website could provide a significant income for you.

Right wing parties have attracted a larger following in Europe over the past few years, but overall, moderation and tolerance have characterized the response of host cultures as they struggle to integrate immigrant populations.

There are many problems with European multiculturalism and with home bred racism, as the recent riots of Muslim youths in France illustrate. But despite terror attacks in Madrid and London, the incendiary speeches of radical imams and high levels of immigrant crime in some areas, Europeans by and large have maintained their cool in the face of intimidation.

Some view this as evidence of weakness. Recently Professor Emeritus of Near Eastern Studies at Princeton, Bernard Lewis, made a speech in which he argued that Muslims are taking over Europe and characterized this as a war being waged by Islam against Christendom. This may be the aim of a minority of Muslim radicals, but it’s not true of the majority. Most Muslim immigrants are interested primarily in getting a decent job and securing a future for their families, not acting as front line troops in some hypothetical war of civilizations. Judging from recent reports from France of numbers of Muslims converting to Christianity, it’s pretty evident that jihad wasn’t the first thing on their mind. I think it’s entirely possible that Lewis is a little too steeped in the historical narrative of his profession and is hyping the current problems out of proportion.

The ‘us versus them’ approach of course has merit in the case of a nation that menaces the West militarily. In such situations there are instances in which war is entirely legitimate. But the same psychology shouldn’t apply to societal issues, where there is a lot more room for accommodation.

The mistake Lewis makes along with writers such as Mark Steyn, is to characterize the position of European secularists as weakness or even degeneracy. In speaking of the Islamist’ view of the European character, Lewis makes the following observation … “They feel they are dealing with, as Osama bin Laden put it, an effete, degenerate, pampered enemy incapable of real resistance”. This sounds very much in keeping with the views of Lewis’ himself.

In the words of The Stranglers … “no more heroes any more”. It’s a different world. Self-assertive chauvinism of the ‘my turf’ variety is hardly evidence of a global perspective. Heroic strength isn’t only demonstrated through tough guy acts. The determined exercise of tolerance and patience in the face of intimidation, frequently demonstrates courageous qualities of a higher order than a willingness to resort too quickly to reactionary blow-back tactics. We have seen the impasse such thinking has led to in Israel and N.Ireland.

The use of the term “Christendom” is also a misnomer. Even though the term isn’t synonymous with Christianity, there is little about modern Europe that is Christian per se. In fact many European intellectuals recoil from the values that the term ‘Christendom’ represents. Without serried ranks of crusader heroes to oppose the alleged Muslim take-over plan, a Euro war-of-civilization is a non-starter. But that certainly doesn’t imply that Europe is simply there for the taking by any one party with any one agenda … Muslim or Christian, or even Jewish.

When you look at Israel and the way it has handled the Palestinian issue, I don’t see the hard line approach proving to be more successful than the patient work of integration. The determination of Israel to view Palestinians (even Israeli Arabs) as a threat has resulted in decades of war and hatred. A continuation of the same policies on the part of Israel guarantees that this situation will never change. Harder though it is, the better way is to set aside inherent inclinations toward exclusivity in order to treat others equally, without distinctions being made on the basis of race and heritage.

Contrary to the views of Lewis, I see the European approach as evidence of strength rather than weakness, despite the enormity of present challenges on the immigration front. The mistake I believe was to allow immigrant communities to basically transport their native culture lock, stock and barrel into European cities in the name of multiculturalism. Many residents of these immigrant enclaves remain unable to speak the language of the host nation. This has clearly been the source of a lot of the frictions that have arisen. While I don’t think the solution lies in evoking the reactionary forces of ‘Christendom’, I do think that secular values need to become more militant when it comes to addressing the nefarious aspects of extremist religious ideology.

Of course for those with a them-and-us mentality, a more progressive approach will always be viewed as weakness because they lack an alternative vision of society, trapped as they are in the traditional mold. In reality, the Israeli position vis-a-vis the Palestinians, is the position that is weak because it is underwritten with fear. Fear-of-the-other has been the force that has sustained the identity of the Jews throughout history, and unfortunately this psychological predisposition shows little sign of changing on the part of the majority. There is however a minority of Israelis who hold progressive views and favor a more enlightened approach. They are the best hope for the future of that nation.

European secularism has become increasingly non-religious, even atheistic. Far from this being evidence of a decline in values or a slide into the abyss of atavistic paganism, it is evidence of a sophisticated society that is slowly moving away from the old ‘them-and-us’ mindset, notwithstanding the resistance from ‘blood and soil’ nationalists. As anyone with even a cursory knowledge of history is aware, them-and-us thinking leads to endless war and attrition.

There is no argument that work needs to be done to improve integration of immigrants and from that point of view there are solid reasons why the old model of multiculturalism needs to be revamped, at a minimum. A new European identity needs to emerge that includes immigrants as equal partners.

European tolerance, even humor, in the face of outspoken fundamentalism and the extremism that is incubated in some Muslim quarters, demonstrates an ethical value that is superior to a gang-up-and-beat-em-down mentality. After all, the whole idea is to integrate Muslims, isn’t it? How can you integrate an immigrant community if you use the actions of a few extremists in their midst to mount a domestic crusade? You will just succeed in deepening the divide and complicating the task. Tolerance though needs to co-exist with tough law and order measures in an effort to combat domestic terrorism. This task is made a lot easier when there is a level of trust, and that can only be engendered by exercising tolerance. Unfortunately European multiculturalism has tended to emphasis the separateness of communities, and has made mutual understanding more difficult to achieve.

Terror threats are very real. European multiculturalism in its present form I believe facilitates these threats because it has created a gulf between communities. Yes, these dangers exist, but alarmist talk that Europe is about to fall under the thrall of Islam is badly overblown and frankly I’m surprised that professor Lewis has climbed onto that particular bandwagon. A simple look at current demographics tells you that it’s not imminent. Moreover, if cultural and religious wars break out down the road, they will be fought at the ballot box and on the media. In the case of terrorist acts by the few, European nations aren’t exactly sitting ducks waiting to keel over. They have robust legal systems and well managed police services. Talk of impending doom and a Muslim ‘takeover’ grossly underestimates the resourcefulness and character of peoples that survived the Nazi era and before that WW1. They aren’t exactly pushovers.

In Europe we are seeing a more militant secularism that no longer bows to the dictates of religion. Despite the patience shown and the concessions made to immigrant communities in the name of tolerance, it is highly unlikely that European societies will cede control to Islam any time soon.

Although there is a serious problem on the immigration front, the commitment to secularism is its greatest hope. Those with a passionate commitment to a new societal model may not be calling upon God, but they bring other qualities to the task … vibrant individualism, realism and the knowledge of a third way that transcends the age old polarities of religious and cultural hatred.

While the exact dates for categorizing each generation are often in debate, Stefan Swanepoel, author of the 2007 Swanepoel Trends Report, says there is no debate about their existence and the fact that each has very different characteristics, resulting from the events that shaped them.

According to Swanepoel as the Boomers make way for Generations X and Y, the world is gradually dealing with the change – real estate is no exception. Each new generation reacts and seeks to change what the previous generations have done, leaving their own footprint on society and business. The first Echo Boomers (Generation Y) are turning 30 next year, which puts the majority of them in their twenties today. They have surfed, watched, recorded, listened and downloaded just about everything they can and are now beginning to effect significant change in the real estate industry.

Even as homeowners Echo Boomers approach matters very differently. They are more likely to buy a home at a younger age than previous generations. They are also not like their Boomer parents that waited for marriage or even a long-term relationship before becoming homeowners. Their thoughts, desires and perspectives are going to change the way the industry conducts itself – like it or not.

The real estate industry is facing a large, escalating change in customer demographics. The Internet is maturing and the door is opening for entry into the industry by newer business models that are heavily focused on fulfilling consumer needs rather than just completing a sales transaction. In 2005, 40% of homebuyers were first time buyers and 50% of them were between the ages of 25 and 34 (Gen X and Echo Boomers). Even more telling – 38% of all homebuyers in that period were under the age of 35.

According to numerous studies undertaken by NAR and the California Association of Realtors® (CAR), approximately 70% of all homebuyers start their search on the Internet. In 2003 the percentage of Internet Buyers and Traditional Buyers was equal. In 2000 Internet buyers represented only 30%.

These new savvy online consumers are looking to the Internet as a tool to fulfill their home buying experience. What they use the Internet for and the extent and quality of service available are starting to shape the real estate process. “Home buyers and sellers are a generational melting pot and understanding each generation will soon become paramount for all brokers and agents,” Swanepoel says. “It is quickly becoming a necessity for agents to become a generational expert in order to effectively serve all their home buying and selling customers.”

Learning to work effectively with each different generation is as much about improving one’s personal skill set as it is re-engineering the real estate professional. That said, according to Tom Stevens, immediate past president of NAR, the next generation of homeowners is already beginning to exert its influence on the housing market so there is no time to lose.

Between 2001 and 2005, NAR reported that the number of first time homebuyers under the age of 25 increased from 11% to14%. When you increase that age to 35 the percentage jumps to 64%. Add to that the fact that the median age of buyers who used the Internet to search for homes in 2005 was 38 and the picture becomes very clear. In 2005, 40% were Generation X and 39% were Echo Boomers … that’s 8 out of every 10 new homebuyers.

Gen X and the Echo Boomers represent the push for newer approaches and processes that are integrated into the “technology” platforms they are not only familiar with but the very ones they helped develop. Companies like Edina and others that are re-engineering their businesses to understand, market to and focus on this growing younger market are smart and wise.

Most people get their subconscious mental map of how dating works from movies and TV shows. These do not accurately portray reality. The audience wants the shy and lovable man to get the girl. In real life he goes home alone, while she goes to a party with the challenging man who has an edge to him. Most women do not know, or do not want to admit to themselves, what really attracts them, so their advice is not always helpful There are no magic bullets – no “pickup lines” or pheromones or other shortcuts. If you don’t intuitively understand the psychology behind dating, you either learn it or you hope for luck.

I certainly don’t have time to go into all of the precepts of The Mystery Method here, but there are basic pointers that I can give that are pretty universal and will improve your success just by themselves. This is just the tip of the iceberg, but it’s a start:

Approach a woman within 3 seconds of seeing her. Don’t stall. You’ll get more nervous and she’ll see you working up your courage. Just go in.

Start with an opinion opener. “Hey, settle this drama for us. My friend over there wants to date his cousin’s ex-girlfriend. Is that cool? How long should he have to wait?” is perfectly fine as an opener. Within 1-2 minutes, switch to another topic. Ask for the opinion as if it’s a real situation; otherwise they’ll think you’re taking a survey.

If she’s with friends, engage her group. Don’t pay special attention to her. Make her earn your attention.

Your body language is crucial. Nearly every guy at our workshops starts off doing most of the following: leaning in to talk to women (stand up straight, always); talking too softly; not smiling; or talking too fast.

Build attraction before building comfort. Don’t prove to her that you’re nice. Prove to her that you have value. Tell her stories that just happen to convey good things about yourself. Make her laugh. Tease her a bit, like she’s your bratty little sister. Many women love that if done in moderation. Once you have mutual attraction, then and only then build comfort by looking for common interests and finding out about each other.

For most women it takes approximately 7 hours from meeting her the first time to having sex with her. Don’t obey this schedule like a slave, but realize that going faster may risk freaking her out (or not seeing her a second time) and taking too long might put you in the Let’s Just Be Friends zone.
